Opening late 2025, Little Leaps Play Café is designed for kids to explore and parents to recharge. The family-owned spot will feature imaginative play areas, storytimes, and parent-child classes, alongside a cozy café serving coffee, smoothies, and snacks.

Founders Angela and Max Simpson created it as a community hub where families can connect, kids can grow, and no parent feels like they’re doing it all alone. We can’t wait to check this one out!

Set among canyons and rolling hills, Crystal Falls Golf Club delivers a scenic round that keeps players on their toes. Tight fairways, steep elevations, and well-kept greens make the course both challenging and rewarding.

My Friends and I is a friendship book created by local mom Birgit Sund of Jonestown. It’s designed for kids ages 5–12 to pass around and fill with all their favorites, their future dreams, and photos. Think of it as part yearbook, part memory book, and all heart.

With a new school year underway, it’s a sweet way for kids to connect, make new friends, and create a keepsake packed with personality. The book is available online and in local shops across Leander, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill, and more.

We have copies for our own kiddos, and they have been hooked. They want everyone to join in: friends, cousins, teachers. There has even been talk of leaving them out for Santa to fill out in December! It’s super cute, loads of fun, and we love supporting a local mom’s creative work.

Meet Poke, a 3-year-old medium mixed breed with a sleek black coat and a heart full of hope. This gentle girl is shy at first and can be cautious around strangers, especially men, but with patience and treats she warms up beautifully.

Poke is a brave tripod who lost her front leg in an accident, yet she is quickly mastering life with three legs. She will do best as the only pet in a calm home with older kids. Adoption fee is $225 in Leander.
