Y’all showed up — and we love you for it.

We asked what you want more of in the Scoop, and the top pick? Volunteer and donation opportunities. Giving back. That says a lot about this community — and we’re all about it.

We’ll be rolling out a section soon to spotlight ways you can pitch in, donate, or help someone out.

Also high on the list: Pet of the Week / adoptables. So yes — some adorable, adoptable faces are probably on the way too.

Big thanks to everyone who voted — now let’s go build a newsletter that does some good.

No local photos this week—we were at the second happiest place on Earth. Don’t worry- Leander still holds the crown! šŸ˜„

šŸ” Luxury Homes Planned for Leander

Toll Brothers is building a new neighborhood in Leander called Wildspring. It’s designed with space to grow—3 to 6 bedrooms, open layouts, and plenty of room to spread out.

The community will have a pool, a shaded pavilion, and a playground for the kids. Simple, useful stuff that makes neighborhood life better. Homes will start in the low $600Ks.

Worth keeping on your radar. Read more here.

šŸ›ļø New Shops Coming Soon to North Leander

The Shops at San Gabriel will break ground later this year off Highway 183, bringing fresh retail energy to the neighborhood. Think two new buildings with space for shops, restaurants, drive-thrus—and room to grow.

Leander’s booming. People are moving in fast. This new spot is built for convenience, giving locals more places to eat, shop, and hang—without trekking across town. It’s right near H-E-B and just a stone’s throw from the Northline development. Learn more here.

🌳 Liberty Hill Kicks Off City Park Upgrades

Liberty Hill is taking its first step toward refreshing City Park. At their April 9th meeting, City Council approved an engineering contract to help pave the parking lot and add new lighting and landscaping.

These updates reflect what neighbors said mattered most and are part of a broader plan to make the park more comfortable and inviting. With Phase 1 now underway, the city is laying the groundwork for future improvements that will continue to enhance this shared community space. Read more here.

Our Favorites

A laid-back Liberty Hill spot where good food and friendly service feel like part of the routine. Folks come for juicy burgers, schnitzel nights, and thoughtful touches like crispy Brussels sprouts and a fully loaded Bloody Mary.

There’s room to stretch out—inside, on the patio, or by the playground. Dog-friendly and neighborly, it’s the kind of place you settle into without much fuss. Read more here.
