Hey, TJ here.
We were pumped by how many of you replied about the free in-person AI training!
In case you missed it, it’s for Scoop readers who know AI matters but aren’t sure how to actually use it for their business or job.
We got so much interest, we’re locking it in. If you’re interested (even if you already emailed), hit the RSVP form here.

We’ll send out time and location details once they’re locked in. If your plans change, you’ll be able to update your response.
Spots are limited, so RSVP if you’re in. And if you can’t make it later, update your answer so someone else can take your place.
Super excited for this. It’s gonna be a good one.

The Gist: After years of delays, Leander Springs developers say they're ready to move forward on the long-stalled, $1 billion lagoon-centered project near FM 2243 and US 183A. Despite losing city incentives and owing millions to contractors, iLand Development has submitted updated plans and hopes to break ground by year’s end, pending city approval.
Why It Matters: This long-awaited development could bring jobs, housing, and major amenities, but locals have reason to watch closely after past setbacks.
What’s Next: City Council is expected to review the project in September, following a Planning & Zoning meeting in July.

The Gist: Leander ISD outperformed statewide averages in every grade and subject on the spring 2025 STAAR exams’ “approaches grade level” benchmark, according to new data from the Texas Education Agency. Most scores held steady or improved year-over-year, with notable gains in middle school math and science.
Why It Matters: It’s a strong signal of academic progress and reassurance for parents that local students are staying ahead of the curve.
What’s Next: Families can view individual STAAR results using their student’s access code through the district portal here.
