Being a mom has been the greatest gift of my life. I don’t know exactly how I pictured motherhood before becoming a mom myself, but it’s safe to say it has exceeded anything I could have imagined.
I’m lucky enough to be raising two of the kindest, most thoughtful, and most empathetic kids in the world, and for that I’m forever grateful. They’ve taught me patience, perspective, and how much joy can be found in the smallest everyday moments.
This week, I hope all the moms and mother figures out there feel celebrated, appreciated, and reminded of just how much their love matters. And for anyone carrying a complicated kind of Mother’s Day this year, I hope the weekend is gentle with you, too. 🩷
🚒 Cedar park opens safety training hub
The Gist: Cedar Park just opened its new $30 million Public Safety Joint Training Facility, giving police, fire, and emergency teams a shared place to train together. The facility includes classrooms, simulation areas, vehicle bays, and the city’s first dedicated Emergency Operations Center.
