Okay, the countdown is officially on. Our kids have only three weeks left of summer break, and I’m already so bummed that it’s almost over! It’s been one of our best summers yet. We’ve fit in plenty of fun, but Typhoon Texas, Splash Shack, and Inner Space Cavern are still on our list!
Some of my favorite days, though, have been the quiet ones at home. Noelle and Charlie have turned our living room into Disneyland, a pirate ship, a library, restaurants, a nail salon and one very elaborate veterinary office. I love watching them create whole worlds together.
These weeks always seem to pass faster than I expect. We’ll keep squeezing in as much as we can, and this week’s events issue should help you make a solid August plan for your own family too.
