Since it's the holidays, we're taking a break from our usual format so we could focus on spending time with our family. Instead, we just wanted to share a special note and some news with you, our incredible readers!
A Note from Us at Leander Scoop
As we wrap up 2024, we wanted to take a moment to reflect and thank you for being part of the Leander Scoop community. This year has been a whirlwind—starting this newsletter brand and growing Leander Scoop has been nothing short of amazing.
We're thrilled to share that we've been adding over 1,000 new readers each month! It's an honor to bring you the best of Leander, Cedar Park, and Liberty Hill in a way that's quick, engaging, and fits right into your busy week.
We hope you're enjoying reading Leander Scoop as much as we love putting it together.
But that’s not all—we’re excited to introduce something new: Hometown Dads: Leander. This is a local community we’re building specifically for dads in the Leander area, with the goal of making it easier to connect, build relationships, and grow together.
As a dad with young kids myself, I know how hard it can be to make meaningful connections—busy schedules, being new to the area, and the general awkwardness of reaching out can all get in the way.
Let’s build relationships and make memories
With Hometown Dads, I want to change that. Our platform will provide ways for dads in the Leander area to connect through:
A newsletter featuring members, events, cool dad ideas and community highlights.
A Facebook group for ongoing conversations and camaraderie.
In-person meetups and events for quality face-to-face time.
And it’s all free, just like Leander Scoop. If you’re interested, you can sign up for the Hometown Dads Leander newsletter here. Once signed up, you’ll get an email with the facebook group link.
This is not a business; it’s a passion project that I’ve wanted to do for years. I’m looking to solve my own problem, that I know many other dads like me have. Now that I have a way to get the word out, it’s a perfect time to put it out there and bring dads together.
