🛌 New Cedar Park full service Marriott rendering released

The Nebraska Furniture Mart shopping center (right by H-E-B Center) is getting a full-service Marriott.
300 rooms plus a 30,000-square-foot convention center—perfect for events, weddings, and visitors.
And that's not all. The new Scheels sporting goods store will have a Ferris wheel inside (wild, right?), plus a restaurant and ice cream parlor.
More shops and restaurants are on the way too. This is going to be a great addition to the community! More details here.
🛠️ San Gabriel Parkway East Phase 2
Leander just approved a $6.9M contract for Phase 2 of the San Gabriel Parkway East extension, extending the road from Isaias Drive to Ronald Reagan Blvd.
Phase 1 wrapped up in 2020, and now it’s time for the next stretch. This project will help traffic flow better and keep up with our growing city. Construction kicks off soon, so get ready for some progress (and probably a few detours).

🏫 Liberty Hill ISD Approves School Funds
The LHISD school board just approved $38 million for Elementary #8, bringing the total price tag to $43.9 million—all covered by the 2023 bond.
They also signed off on a $160,000 contract to tackle some much-needed facility renovations, thanks to the 2021 bond.
