🐄 Just opened: Local beef, raw milk, & outdoor barre at the farm stand

Today is about pausing to honor the men and women who have served our country, including the neighbors, friends, and family members who have sacrificed so much.

Mother Acres just opened its charming farm stand on Anderson Mill Road in Cedar Park, offering raw milk, pasture-raised eggs, tallow skincare, and local beef. The shop brings wholesome, homegrown products straight to the community.

Open Thursday through Saturday, it also serves as a pickup spot for local goods and hosts family-friendly events like community walks and outdoor barre classes. Sounds like such a great addition to our community!

The Kids Bookshop in Leander is a new cozy, independent bookstore filled with gently used and new reads for toddlers through teens. Shelves are organized by theme, from classic literature and bilingual titles to faith-based and homeschool favorites.

With softcover books starting at $2, a comfy play area, and a special corner for moms, it’s a welcoming spot where kids can explore stories and families can share a love of reading.

Meet Axel, a 9-month-old German Shepherd mix with a serious love for play. This medium-sized boy weighs about 50 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, and both crate and potty trained.

He’s very friendly and people-focused, plays well with other dogs, and happily settles in for cuddles after a day of adventure. Axel is playful, smart, and eager to please. Cats and kids are untested. He enjoys a good yard chase and quiet TV time afterward.

Located in Liberty Hill, adoption fee is $300.
