We hope your Thanksgiving was packed with delicious food, family moments, and maybe a little relaxation in between the chaos. If your kids are like ours, they probably ate exactly three bites of turkey and a roll, and then spent the rest of dinner pushing sweet potatoes around like they were creating abstract art. All that after how many hours of cooking? At least we’ve got leftovers, right?!

🚧Lane Closures on Hero Way (December 2 and Onward)
Hey neighbors! If you frequent Hero Way, you’ve probably noticed the lane closures that started on Monday. The city’s working on some much-needed drainage fixes under the railroad tracks, and these closures will last for a few weeks.
To keep your commute stress-free, try taking Ronald Reagan or Crystal Falls as alternate routes. They might be able to save you some time during peak hours. ⏱️
It’s definitely no fun dealing with delays, but hopefully this will provide us with better, safer roads. 🙏

📚 Leander ISD Facing $29M Budget Shortfall!
Leander ISD is dealing with a nearly $29 million budget gap (up from $21.8 million) due to student enrollment being down and expenses going up. This could impact programs and resources in our local schools. The district anticipates adjustments in the coming months and plans to provide an update in January.

🎉 The Crossover food trucks - Cedar Park
Coat & Thai and Habibi ATX have closed their locations at The Crossover as of Nov. 9, but both food trucks are still serving in Austin.
But don’t worry— The Crossover has welcomed a new addition: Summer Blends Cafe. This fresh concept offers an elevated salad-bar-on-wheels experience, featuring wraps, paninis, soups, and açaí bowls made with clean and flavorful ingredients. Can’t wait to try it out! Read more here.
