The Liberty Hill ISD school board has taken important steps to address our growing community's educational needs. At their recent meeting, board members approved significant funding for both new construction and facility improvements.
Elementary School #8 Moving Forward
The board approved $38 million for Elementary School #8, bringing the total investment in this new facility to $43.9 million. This project is fully funded through the 2023 bond that our community supported, ensuring we can accommodate the increasing number of students in our district.
Facility Renovations Also Approved
In addition to the new elementary school, the board approved a $160,000 contract for facility renovations throughout the district. These improvements will be funded by the 2021 bond and will address several maintenance needs at existing schools.
These investments reflect our district's commitment to maintaining quality educational facilities while planning for continued growth in the Liberty Hill area.
