Lariat Launches Second Phase of Homes in Liberty Hill

New homes bring more options and amenities to growing master-planned community northwest of Austin

579 New Homes from a Range of Builders

Phase two of Lariat will feature 579 homes built by a mix of established regional and national homebuilders, including Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, Coventry Homes, CastleRock Communities, and TriPointe Homes.

Prices will range from the $400,000s to $1 million, with floor plans spanning 1,400 to 4,200 square feet. Options include one- and two-story layouts, flexible living areas, outdoor entertaining spaces, and first-floor primary suites.

Model homes for the second phase are now open to the public.

Location and Community Features

Located off Texas 29, west of U.S. 183, Lariat sits about 36 miles northwest of Austin in Williamson County. The 706-acre master-planned community first opened in October 2021 and currently has 444 completed homes, with an additional 91 under construction.

Beyond housing, Lariat offers a growing list of amenities. A newly completed amenity center includes a resort-style pool, splash pad, playground, pavilion, and an event lawn used for concerts, farmers markets, and community events. The neighborhood also features trails, a fishing pond with a dock, a sports court, and an enclosed dog park.

A Community-Oriented Development

Lariat is developed by Randolph Texas Development, a family-owned company focused on master-planned communities across Central Texas. According to company vice president Grant Rollo, the second phase is in response to strong demand as more families seek a “back-to-basics” lifestyle in the Liberty Hill area.

Since opening, Lariat has welcomed over 300 homeowners, with many more expected as phase two progresses. A new elementary school is also under construction nearby, reinforcing the area’s appeal for young families. Read more here.
