Sky Zone’s first Austin-area location
Sky Zone, a national indoor trampoline park franchise, is officially entering the Austin metro with its first local location planned for Cedar Park. The 30,000-square-foot facility is slated to open inside Building Two at Scottsdale Crossing, located at 1611 Scottsdale Road. The announcement was made Jan. 13 by Kersan LLC, the Texas-based franchise group behind the expansion.
This marks the first Sky Zone in the Austin market, though it is not expected to be the last.
A growing entertainment hub
The Cedar Park site sits within the 120-acre Scottsdale Crossing mixed-use development, an area already home to industrial, commercial, and entertainment uses. Austin-based Klepper Industrial recently acquired the building, which neighbors companies like Hanyang Eng USA Inc. and The Crossroads entertainment venue.
According to Kersan LLC President Rodney George, the goal is to create an indoor active entertainment destination designed for families, kids, and groups of all ages. The space will include open jump trampolines, interactive play zones, and areas dedicated to birthday parties, group events, and school field trips.
More locations on the horizon
Sky Zone was founded more than two decades ago and operates roughly 300 locations worldwide, with plans to reach 500 by 2027. Kersan LLC has been scouting the Austin area since 2024 and has previously shared plans to open as many as 10 locations across the metro. Officials have said additional sites are already being explored in Leander and Round Rock.
Renovation costs for the Cedar Park location are estimated at $2 million and will include a cafe, kitchen, event rooms, lounge space, and offices. The location is expected to employ five full-time staff members and about 70 part-time employees.
It feels like another sign that Cedar Park continues to attract large-scale, family-focused entertainment options.
