A new addition for a fast-growing city
Denny’s is preparing to open its first restaurant in Liberty Hill, according to new filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The diner chain, known for its Grand Slam breakfast plates, will move into a larger $3 million development planned at 10280 W. State Highway 29.
Project details
The filings show the project includes a convenience store and two additional lease spaces. One of those spaces has been reserved for Denny’s. The development will cover nearly 12,000 square feet.
Construction is expected to begin in mid March 2026, with the full project scheduled for completion in late February 2027. These dates are listed as tentative in the state filing.
Denny’s footprint in Texas
The upcoming Liberty Hill restaurant joins an already sizable presence across the state. Texas has an estimated 185 Denny’s locations, including five in the Austin area. The new site will bring one of the chain’s classic diner setups to a community that has seen rapid residential and commercial growth.
What diners can expect
Denny’s remains best known for its customizable Grand Slam meals that include combinations of pancakes, eggs, bacon and sausage. The menu also features skillets, French toast, chicken fried steak, burgers and the Slamburger, which blends breakfast favorites into a single sandwich.
The company has not released additional details about the Liberty Hill layout or opening plans beyond what appears in the state filing.
