The Spinning Wheel ATX in Leander is more than a pottery studio—it’s a creative sanctuary where sustainability and self-expression go hand in hand. Located at 2205 S Bagdad Rd, Leander, this welcoming space invites both beginners and seasoned makers to explore conscious creativity through hands-on clay workshops and upcycled art projects.

Founded by artist and educator Rakhi, The Spinning Wheel ATX originally began in India as a mission to teach “conscious art.” Now rooted in Texas, the studio continues that purpose by encouraging mindful creativity through pottery, recycled crafts, and art-centered community giving.

Pottery, Parties & Play

Whether you're interested in learning the basics of wheel throwing or just looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon, The Spinning Wheel ATX offers beginner-friendly classes and walk-in sessions for all ages. Guests can create pottery from scratch, try out clay hand-building, or host a birthday party where everyone gets to take home their own handmade keepsake.

Group workshops and kids’ tie-dye sessions are popular for celebrations and team-building outings, and the studio’s relaxed vibe makes even first-timers feel at ease.
