On top of the holiday hustle, there’s some big local news—Costco and Target are both officially coming to Liberty Hill! More shopping, less driving, and major convenience are headed our way. Check out all the details below.
We also hope you’ve had a chance to enjoy some of the amazing local events happening around town. The Liberty Hill Christmas Festival last weekend was packed with family fun, and there’s even more holiday magic coming up this weekend.

🚧 Big Retailers Coming to Liberty Hill!
Get ready, Liberty Hill—Costco and Target are officially on their way to the Seward Junction development, located at the intersection of Hwy 29 and Hwy 183! This game-changing addition means more shopping, convenience, and big-name brands right in our backyard.
No more long drives for bulk buys or Target runs! Construction is set to begin in 2025, with both stores expected to open their doors by mid-2026. The development is expected to draw even more growth and opportunities to the area.

🛍️ Hill Country Community Ministries to Open Nonprofit Mall!
Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM) plans to open a 30,000-square-foot nonprofit mall by late 2025 in Leander to centralize resources for struggling residents.
The facility will expand HCCM’s food pantry and host services like medical care, mental health support, and financial assistance, with potential partners including the Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center.
HCCM needs $3-$4 million more to secure the $8.1 million property near The Crossover. Plans also include converting the current pantry into transitional housing.

We’re finally spotlighting one of our kids’ favorite restaurants (and definitely one of our top 3)— Tumble 22!
It’s the perfect mix of casual dining with great service, fast turnaround, and affordable prices.
Full disclosure: I’ve only ever ordered the Lil’ O.G. sandwich because it’s so good I can’t bring myself to try anything else. And don’t sleep on the 60/40 drink—a beer and margarita combo that sounds odd but tastes amazing!
