The winning ticket
A Cedar Park resident has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize from the drawing held on September 6, 2025. According to lottery officials, the winning Quick Pick ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 10207 Lake Creek Parkway in Austin. The winner has chosen to remain anonymous.
Numbers that matched
The ticket matched all five white ball numbers: 11, 23, 44, 61, and 62, but did not match the red Powerball number, which was 17. Matching the five white balls without the Powerball secures the game’s second-tier prize of $1 million.
Jackpot highlights
The Cedar Park win comes just days after a much larger jackpot was claimed in Texas. Earlier this month, Bigs Gas Station on U.S. Highway 290 in Fredericksburg sold one of two tickets that split the record-setting $1.8 billion Powerball jackpot.
When drawings happen
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. Central Time, offering players across the country a chance at major prizes.
